Computers have definitely become cheaper and easier to use over the last few

The best
SPAM solution I have found, and it's
not expensive! I put my email address in plain view on my web site,
because that makes it easy for my real customers to
find me. Unfortunately, that means spammers can also find me easily, which
used to be a problem ... but not any more.
Mailwasher Pro delivers what it promises, is easy to set up, even for
multiple email accounts. Now when my email beeps
I can be almost certain that I've got a genuine message. You can set Mailwasher
Pro to be as conservative or ruthless
as you like. If a genuine message looks like SPAM and gets trashed (a rare
event), you can easily recover it. It took me
about a day to get used to the new way of working. Now I would never go back.
But you don't just have to take my word

Every computer needs to be backed up regularly. Hard
disks can fail at any time without warning; the average HDD
life span is 2 years. Backing up your documents is a good start - most people don't even do that. But the best solution is an automatic, easy to install system which takes care of everything. I use Acronis True Image software to back up my documents, email, programs, settings, and even the operating system. It is also available in a free trial version. Restoring your documents is the easy job - rebuilding your hard drive from scratch takes days if you don't have it all backed up with something like Acronis True Image. Acronis also provides Windows Server and Linux Server versions, plus upgrades. |

Your computer needs anti-virus and firewall software. There are lots
available. I use Norton.
If you are still struggling with Floppy Disks,
you need a Flash Card (aka Flash Memory Drive, USB Flash
Drive,
UFD, SD Memory Card, Secure Digital Memory Card etc., etc.). They provide much
greater storage and convenience.
